We are a Stephen Ministry church

Stephen Ministry News

Greetings and Salutations, in order to participate and recruit at "Rally Day," I've changed the start date for Stephen Ministry training class to be tentatively Thursday, September 18, 2014. If there is a consensus of the students that a different evening will work best I will consider a night of the week other than Thursday.
The Stephen Ministry course material is life changing in nature. Stephen Ministry training provides the potential for you to experience significant personal growth regarding an enhanced understanding and application of tried and proven principles for relating to people from a healthy Christian attitude, understanding, and perspective.
I encourage each of you who have not committed yet to Stephen Ministry training to give prayerful consideration to the possibility that God desires for you to make a commitment to become a Stephen Minister. Former Stephen Ministers, who may desire to become active again, are welcome to contact me to discuss the possibility of attending class for a refresher. I would also remind you that Stephen Ministers will be partnering in the rather exciting Lutheran Church Charities K-9 Comfort Dog program beginning soon at FGS.
It is allowable for you to commit to the Stephen Ministry training classes without first making the decision to become an active Stephen Minister. Please let me know earlier than later as there are class materials needed which have to be ordered. Contact me David Clark, Stephen Leader, 702-580-2561,
